I have experience working with a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, self-confidence, PTSD, and more.
In particular, I have training in trauma treatment using EMDR, and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for clients with BPD. I also use CBT, ACT, and mindfulness in my therapy.
As a psychologist, my approach is to help my clients be able to make themselves feel good, even when their situations might not be. I will always try to understand a person's story as best as I can. I am warm and friendly, but I will also give a push if needed. I always aim to help clients understand their problem, where it came from, what's keeping it going, and then work out "what are we going to do about it?". I understand how important it is to be able to trust, communicate, and, most importantly, laugh, with your psychologist.
