How we can support you.

Knowing where to find the right mental health support can be difficult to navigate, causing additional distress and delays in starting treatment.

At Clarity, our model of care gives you access to a range of mental health clinicians, including psychologists, clinical psychologists, mental health social workers and psychiatrists who can support your needs - all from one clinic.

Once Clarity has received your referral, we will assign a senior mental health clinician to you based on your support needs and your own preferences.

We take great care to find the best "fit" for you, as this is an important factor in ensuring successful outcomes for both you and the clinician. This may include a psychiatrist or other multi-disciplinary team members as part of your ‘care team’ at Clarity.

Evidence shows that a multidisciplinary team-based approach leads to stronger recovery for patients.

Psychological Therapies include:

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

  • Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing

  • Acceptance Commitment Therapy

  • Schema Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Family and Couples Therapy

  • Pharmacological Therapy

Depending on your circumstances, you may choose to access Clarity Health Care via one of the following options:

  • Simply contact us and let us know you are self-referring.
A self-referral means that you are seeing a Mental Health Clinician privately and will pay full-fee. No Medicare rebate is available.

  • Make an appointment with your GP and ask them for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) for therapy or a Psychiatry Referral (for medication).

Getting a Mental Health Care Plan means that you will be eligible for a Medicare Rebate (up to 10 sessions) per calendar year and will be Out of Pocket a fixed amount.

Your GP can fax or email Clarity a copy of your MHCP or Psychiatry Letter. You may also bring a hard copy to the Clinic.
