    Your responsibilities.

  • Clinicians play to the top of their game with administration and processes supporting clinicians to deliver outcomes for their consumers. Our experience administration team:

    o   manage your appointments

    o   proactively follow up on cancelled appointments and fill these times, maximising the client consultations in your chosen work hours.

    o   analyse billing data and creating draft invoices for you to be reimbursed.

  • Flexibility to allow your contracting arrangement to fit in with your life including part-time, tailored hours (early start, late finish) and working-from-home arrangements, as we prioritise work life balance and our contractor well-being. As we have a number of psychiatrists in the organisation, you can enjoy your holidays without interruptions.

    o   access to referrals from our existing contracts, such as our private health hospital substitution program which allows for 20 sessions at no cost to the consumer

    o   Collaboration with our dedicated marketing manager to support private/Medicare referrals

The role requirements.

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution with specialisation in Psychiatry.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent.

  • Eligible for a Medicare provider number

  • Demonstrated experience in the field of psychiatry, preferably in a community or outpatient setting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and other relevant Australian regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
