Jenny is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI).
Jenny has worked in a variety of settings: public health in Sydney, Sunshine Coast and London, several non-government organisations as well as a private hospital setting. She has also worked as a trainer, educator, curriculum developer, clinical supervisor and consultant.
Jenny uses a number of therapeutic modalities when working with clients with emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) while also drawing on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jenny adapts how she works to each client’s individual need, believing in being person-centred, empathic and respectful. She uses humour with clients and is irreverent in her style.
