Kara is a Psychologist with a warm, compassionate, down-to-earth approach to therapy. She is non-judgemental, thoughtful and supports individuals in navigating life’s challenges in ways that are both practical and meaningful.

Kara has extensive experience working for community mental organisations and private practice across both Melbourne and Cairns. She also spent 3 years living in the UK and working in both Child Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and acute mental health services. Kara tailors her care for her clients to best suit their needs. In doing so she draws on a number of different evidence-based modalities. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and also some elements of Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
