I enjoy working with children from 4 years and above. My therapeutic style is fun, warm, compassionate and client-focused. Our time together is dedicated to better understand you, your main concerns and what you would like to gain from the therapy process. For my younger clients, I bring a fun, playful, versatile, creative and playful approach to therapy! 

Child Psychologist Hobart

Christina Mason is a Child Psychologist at our Kingston Clinic. She is currently on maternity leave.

I have a passion for working with children, families and school staff to assist children and adolescents reach their full potential. I endeavour to establish a genuine connection with my clients through kindness and warmth. 

I completed my internship at Monash Children’s Hospital where I regularly participated in assessments of children with Autism, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorders and many other developmental issues. Following this, I completed additional training in autism assessments. I have also worked in disability support for several years and have developed strong skills in working with individuals with a range of abilities. 

I also enjoy working therapeutically with children and adolescents using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, Positive Behaviour Support and Mindfulness based approaches.
