I provide psychiatric care at both our Tasmania locations, and at our Fitzroy clinic in Melbourne.
I try to work in a patient-centred way that looks at increasing functional outcomes and decreasing symptom load. I am particularly interested in supportive decision-making ensuring that patients are involved significantly in their own treatment decisions.
I believe it is essential to operate in an evidence based framework whereby we maximise the chances of interventions being effective and also that they are appropriate and indicated for a patient’s individual circumstances.
