Kingston Provisional Psychologist

My approach to mental health care is trauma-informed, person-centred, and collaborative. I prioritise creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood, as I believe this is the foundation for meaningful therapeutic work. I take a strengths-based perspective, supporting clients to recognise their existing capacities while working towards their goals. I integrate evidence-based interventions, tailoring them to each individual in a way that feels natural, relevant, and aligned with their values and lived experience. I aim to work alongside clients, rather than as an expert directing them, fostering autonomy and empowerment throughout the process. By building a strong therapeutic relationship and adapting my approach to each client’s needs, I support clients to develop insight, practical skills, and confidence. This helps them make sustainable changes and move towards goals that are meaningful and realistic for them.
