Senior Psychologist, Malvern
I am a Senior Psychologist providing therapy to adults, couples and seniors at our Malvern Clinic. I provide specialised counselling to survivors of trauma, including First Nations People, Refugees, LGBTQIA+, Veterans and Law Enforcement.
I offer a tailored approach using a range of therapies to suit the individual. Having worked in a variety of settings, I have experience in everyday life difficulties and those experiencing distress as a result of trauma.
I’m a highly experienced psychologist with over 20 years of expertise across clinical, forensic, and community mental health settings. I work with individuals, couples, and families, supporting them through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
I adopt a client-centred, tailored approach, integrating solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, and evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, schema therapy, and strength-based interventions. My focus is on empowering clients to better understand their symptoms, explore subconscious triggers, and foster lasting, meaningful change.
With extensive experience supporting First Nations communities, refugees, defence personnel, and correctional populations, I bring a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity.
Committed to lifelong learning, I’m currently undertaking a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and participate in two in-house education programs annually to further enhance my skills and stay at the forefront of best practices.
I’m registered with Medicare, WorkSafe, DVA, and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), and I remain dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality psychological care to the community.
