Psychiatrist and TMS Lead
I am a psychiatrist with broad experience in managing different mental health issues, with particular interest in women’s mental health and youth psychiatry.
I finished medical school and psychiatry training at the University of Zagreb, Croatia before coming to Australia. After obtaining RANZCP Fellowship, I worked as a psychiatrist at ORYGEN Health service, and Second Opinion scheme (run by Victorian public mental health services), before joining the team at Clarity Health Care. My experience also includes academic and clinical work in Canada, CAMH Toronto. I gained a Master of Affective Neuroscience in 2017 in Firenze, Italy on the topic of OCD.
My approach to mental health care has been shaped by working across different countries and cultures, which has taught me the importance of listening first and understanding each person’s unique context.
I focus on creating a space where people feel heard and validated, whether they’re navigating life transitions, mental health challenges, or complex emotions. I use a combination of therapy, medication, and other evidence-based treatments, always with an awareness of how cultural background, personal history, and social factors shape mental health. My goal is to work alongside clients, helping them find practical ways to improve their well-being in a way that makes sense for them.
